Sorry - No Writing of Substance Today. I'm Too Busy Watching YouTube Videos.

My good friend Amy over at Doobleh-vay always finds the best stuff. Like THIS. And after watching it about 20 times, it occurred to me that I could check YouTube to see if these talented (and weird) lip synchers had anything else. I wasn't disappointed.

Sadly - embedding was disabled for my two favorites, so I couldn't feature them here. But I highly recommend B&B's version of Growing Pains and You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling. (and I was just talking about the Top Gun premiere...)

So here is my runner up choice (with "able" embedding):

Where did they get the old school Lite Brite? I feel old just knowing what what that is...

And for for something really trippy - check this one out.

While perusing through these gems, Chris (oh yes - he got sucked in too, and so did my three year old for that matter) and I stumbled across this:

I dare you to try to NOT watch the whole thing. Not only is that impossible - it's likely that you will feel the need to watch it again (and again and again...) And Oliver (my three year old) was really into the "robots" - so it's fun for the whole family!

Okay - I think I need to watch these a few hundred more times, so that's it for tonight.

(And I apologize for the delay in this week's giveaway. I swear - it's coming soon! So check back later this week.)

Am I the only one who was kinda wishing those boxes would go flying off their heads?

I LOVED the lip synchers video! So funny, and I actually watched the entire clip - nearly five minutes. That's long for me, especially this time of year when my days are scheduled down to 15 minute increments. Busy! (I have two old school Lite Brites.)

I actually couldn't get through the second video. I watched half of it though and those gals had to have practiced many hours to get their moves down! Fun post!

That was just awesome. I had to puruse the B&B catalog and found some great ones I'll have to watch again.

That last video was amazing. How long did they practice and how many takes did they do? Wow.

Did you know that if you type in "repeat" before the .com it will automatically repeat it for you?

I think it's fascinating the way YouTube time is calculated differently than real time. Because surely I didn't really spend THAT much time on YouTube.

Thanks Kate! I just spent an hour of my life on YouTube :o) Like in "The Office" where Michael says, 'Yeah, when YouTube came out, I didn't work for an entire week!"

Ty and I found the "Groovy Dancing Girl" a while back and he loves her. Ian tries to dance like her :o)

Can I confess that I go on YouTube with the boys sometimes and look for funny videos when it's just before dinner/bath/bedtime, Daddy's not home yet, and they are really restless!? :o)

Hi Kate. It's me Chris, again. I just had to tell you I've spent the last hour watching those B&B boys. I have SO much to do, but I'm totally in love. Reminds me of such good times in college. I think I've watched every, single video they've made. Please don't expose me to anything else like this until after Christmas. I have too much to do. Thank you.

So I was feeling blue (some holiday blues combined with a bad day and an anniversary I want to forget) and was trying to distract myself by reading blogs....and this cheered me up SO MUCH! I feel better already!
